The project
For this hall, our engineering office created and optimized the structural concept. The structural concept had to be adapted in such a way that the production process of the Pernet company could be organized efficiently and smoothly. The upper floor of the hall is used as a warehouse, which means large permanent loads.
The construction method
Due to these weight masses and also because of the spans of up to 7.70 m, the main supporting structure consists of steel beams up to profile size HEB 500, which transfer the loads to wooden columns. The floor elements are made of box girders. The steel beams have been integrated into the ceiling system (REI30) so that the fire protection of the steel beams can be guaranteed.
