The new building of the 2-storey mountain restaurant Morenia in Saas-Fee is located at an altitude of 2`570 m.a.s.l. and measures approximately 43 x 21 m.

A two-story addition was planned on top of the existing building of about 20 x 25 m floor area. The existing building - an approximately 30-year-old object with a flat roof consisted of reinforced concrete columns in a grid of and 3 x 5 m and glulam beams placed above.

The tithe barn was one of the oldest preserved buildings in the city of Thun. After a fire in 1999, it had to be renovated in cooperation with the preservation of historical monuments of the canton of Bern.
